Since 1986, until the present Damon Vickers has been researching and then investing in some of America’s fastest growing companies. As the manager of Ajra, the Vickers Family Office, Mr. Vickers believes that corporate profits are driven primarily by the consumer and the shifts in their behavior. He observed that over the long term these shifts tend to drive sales, earnings, and thus stock prices. He coined the phrase "placing capital in the path of social change".
Mr. Vickers has a variety of personal interests including a love for the outdoors; having spent many summers on the lakes of Maine and on Martha’s Vineyard Island. Mr. Vickers divides his time between the two islands of Martha’s Vineyard and St John in the United States Virgin Islands.
